Oklevueha’s Influence for Good 

Over the years, Oklevueha Native American Church has stood for legal action to protect all humans and the freedom of religion. We have worked hard to enable the Native American Church to have equal access to all the constitutional freedoms it is entitled to.

An example of this work was our success in having the state of Utah recognize marriages performed by ONAC Medicine people. You can see the results of that campaign here.

Oklevueha also worked hard to create an exemption in Utah’s smoking ban, so that a sacred pipe can be prayed with indoors. Here is the link to that ruling.
